I am going to become a bitter person, more than ever before.

You did this to me, and you too....Luckily no one will read this

I have nothing to be nice about.

What for??

Life has always sucked and it continues to suck.

Poetry Time

One Little Leaf

One little leaf
Floating up on high
One little leaf
So high in the sky

One little leaf
Floats gently way down
One little leaf
Joins others on the ground

All the little leaves
Blow down the way
All the little leaves
Tumbling in play

All the little leaves
Fluttering everywhere and here
All the little leaves
From the trees they disappear

One little leaf
Joins others in the heap
One little leaf
And summers gone to sleep

Bill or George, anything but Sue!

What a great song that is!

Typical nice fall day today. Crisp air, sunny skies, leaves flying around. Love that kind of day! The leaves are practically all off the trees.

Halloween is almost here, then it is all down hill to Christmas, it will be here and gone in a flash. Just watch.

Trying to take it easy today. I want to try to get away from this computer and watch that new Dracula show from Friday night. Hope it is good or not. I recorded it on the DVR.

70's music playing on the satellite and alternating with the classic country song channel.

Washed a load of shirts, will have to hang them up to dry soon.

Took some leftover roast beef out of the freezer for dinner tonight. Will make a box of macaroni and cheese to go with it, that should satisfy his appetite.

My son called me yesterday afternoon on his way to work via the car pool site. He calls every few days. Sometimes he emails from work.

Oh the big news of the week, Charter is finally laying fiber optic down the road. Soon they will be nagging via US Mail and telephone to get everyone to sign up. Guess if they want to buy out our satellite contract....

Got some pictures at the Cedar Lake Cemetery yesterday, looked like a few new interments. Will find out when I get the photos downloaded!

OH NO, I need to work on my mothers Halloween card. I do have until Monday when I will have to take it to the post office to have it weighed for postage. I think I have the inscription done, it goes as follows:

Ghosts and Goblins
Out and about
It's Halloween night
There is no doubt

Tricks and treats
Candy and sweets
Spooks and freaks
Charlie Brown geeks

Wishing you a Happy Halloween

That's copyrighted too! LOL!

I wish the printer had ink since my handwriting is nasty.

Thinking on making no bake cookies today. Can't make much of any other treat since I am nearly out of flour, or am I? Will have to check on that!

The mail just came, probably junk mail, certainly not worth delivering on Saturday.

That's it for my thoughts today. Until we meet again, adieu.

Time for a change

Since scanning and posting postcards are quite difficult on this old computer I think I'll go in a different direction...

I use ellipses a lot, I overuse them in fact! So get used to it! No smilies in here?? Guess Ill try this...:-)

Introducing...my life.

My life includes a husband, two dogs, two cats and a son that lives out on his own

Other pertinent info; I frequent a few websites regularly and semi regularly. FindaGrave, YouThink, FamilySearch to name just a few, guess that would be the bulk of them though. I also access my G-mail several hundred times a day!

My grammar is not what it should be so you'll have to forgive that part. Spelling on the other hand shall always be correct or better be!

I love Jar Jar Binks, ya know from Star Wars...

I am currently deeply involved in genealogy research on my family. Presently on the paternal side. My mother wants some info on her side so I might have to suspend the paternal side and get started more on hers since her life span is growing shorter....

Another love of my life is autumn. Also the winter holidays. From Labor Day to Easter. Labor Day being the day I was born on. Love the Christmas lights, music, the decorations and the hustle and bustle of the retail world...as long as I am not the one shopping and having to check out.

Art has come into my life this year. I have never been artistic. I've always been crafty though, in more ways than one! I decided I did not care what other people think of my art, I would just do it. (I am just so much of a perfectionist) I'd like to think I am getting better with experience. Maybe I should post some of the pictures here. For Halloween I am created a card to send to my mother. She lives in Venice Florida with my oldest sister Jean. They aren't quite getting along and my "brother in law" is caught in the middle.

I also photograph grave stones for FindaGrave. Making memorials goes hand in hand with the photos. Pleasing Michiganders across the world.

I enjoy making people happy. I get a kick out of children. I love to see them all dressed up for Halloween. I wave at the little ones in the grocery store stuck in carts. No grandchildren here yet and might never be. Looking to adopt some though!

The short list of shows on television that I enjoy begins with The Big Bang Theory with Sheldon being my favorite character, followed by Raj, he is SOOO CUTE! I'm always been partial to men in that part of the world.

Well I'd say that is enough for today, enjoy the fall!
